Nomadic Spirit was founded by James Winstanley, a lifelong traveller with a background in wellness and music. His journey has taken him across the world, from India to New York City, where he worked as a bartender, to the hills of Ibiza. It was there, in his kitchen, that he first alchemised the first recipes for Nomadic Spirit, inspired by his adventures, the people he met, and the belief that true connection begins with presence and shared experience.

Driven by curiosity and guided by the belief that what we drink should both taste good and do good, James began experimenting with botanicals, herbs and adaptogens over a decade ago in a fishermans hut in Goa, learning the art of flavour extraction with the intuition of alchemy. Many recipes and forays into the wild world of botanicals later, the result is Nomadic Spirit, a functional, non-alcoholic spirits brand, designed to elevate mood, awaken the senses and reimagine the ritual of drinking.

Our first release, True North, embodies this philosophy. Herbaceous and complex, with notes of bitter orange, woodsmoke and a gentle heat, it is crafted to accompany moments of clarity, creativity and connection, whether shared or savoured alone.

At Nomadic Spirit we are guided by purpose: to create drinks that move people beyond the ordinary, toward a more conscious way of living and celebrating.
